Yale Robbins, Inc. commissioned New Hampshire-based Accelara Research to develop a current picture of readership interests for the New York & New Jersey editions of The Cooperator. The New Jersey Cooperator serves readers engaged in managin condominium, co-op and homeowner associations. Readers are active as board members, officers, and managers. Research was conducted to learn the extent of reader involvement in purchasing activities, interaction with the publications, and preference for editorial content.
What the survey found is that The New Jersey Cooperator readership is strong, that loyal readers pore through every issue and even pass it around to their neighbors. Three fourths of its subscribers read every issue and over half share their issue with other readers. Nearly half clipped and saved advertisements and 30 percent or more routinely request information about an advertiser’s product or service.
